Are you looking for exceptional service?

— Isla Garza, Ojochal de Osa, Costa Rica —

Most of the beaches where you can surf are currently overcrowded. The industrial educational activity of our sport obliges us to look for new places, virgins, where we can really make you discover the communion with the Ocean and the true roots of surfing.

Isla Garza de Osa, where our school and adventure center is located, is one of the last unknown destinations in the country. It is located north of the Sierpe biological reserve, a place protected by UNESCO and the local authorities. After a short boat crossing of the sacred river of the natives, the Rio Terraba, with the local fishermen, we will cross by a path deprives our farm of more than 5hect.

We protect a large part of our land and the other part is in ecological agricultural use in order to give fruits to the habitants of the island. We give work to the habitants to enable them to improve their living conditions, always with the idea of fair trade,

You can surf alone, with family or friends, sand waves for all levels and all year round.

- OUR HISTORY -

After studying in Marseille and working as an optician in Sanary sur mer, my taste for adventure and the waves allowed me to visit the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica and surf the mythical wave of Salsa Brava.

3 months as a "Free" surfer, too many vacations to come back and I decide to settle on the Pacific coast in a place unknown at the time, playa Santa Teresa. Pioneers of the place, we cleared with machete the first paths to go surfing this magnificent beach. Thanks to the support of the locals, we create the local surf club and I work as founding president for the good of the community and its surroundings by preserving the entrance to the beaches and the Bongo Ario refuge. After a short
one-year stint as a volunteer rescuer at sea in Jaco and playa Hermosa de Jaco, I return to Santa Teresa where I resume the adventures of Río Bongo. In 2020, following 15 years of work gathering information from teachers, surfcamps, surf shops, and thanks to meetings with the government (SINAC and ICT), we finally manage to define the first laws on surf lessons at Costa Rica with the project completed in the Cabo Blanco area where ecology and professionalism meet.

After several years as a surf and adventure guide throughout the country (horse, paddle board, fishing, kayaking, visiting waterfalls, etc.) and as a teacher and personal surf coach, we decide with my family to change region due to overcrowding in the Santa Teresa area.

Luckily we discover this corner of paradise where everything we were looking for in the past comes together: Nature, Adventures, excellent waves for all levels and the pleasure of a wild place where the discovery of unknown waves is still possible.

The real Costa Rica...

We are waiting for you to make you discover this magical place...
